Mike has been a licensed insurance agent since 1981. He also holds a real estate broker’s license and has been a certified residential appraiser since 1998. He graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Insurance and Finance. He was born and raised in Richmond, married his wife Denita (Van Sickle) in 1986 and together raised three children.

Denita has been in the insurance industry since 1983 joining Lyons Insurance & Real Estate, Inc. in 2012 after a 30 year career with a global Property & Casualty Insurance company. She was also born and raised in Richmond and graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business and marketing.
